Crashing the Pepsi IPL in my way
Hello to all!
This post is my 2 cents in
CrashThePepsiIPL contest run by Pepsi during the Pepsi IPL 2015.
Pepsi is inviting home MAD(E) ;) advertisements from viewers. Selected ads from the entries will be run on TV and if your ad reaches the final stage you might win Rs 1 Lakh. Sounds delicious na, this is not all you will get Pepsi VIP Box tickets for match of your choice.
These fan ads are running currently on TV during IPL matches and you can also watch these here. There are some very awesome compositions but my favourites are from Nikita Deshpande, Pranav Bhasin and Arun Chikkop. Nikita’s and Pranav’s advertisement have already become winner and the third one is also a finalist. Not taking more of your time I’ll take you directly to the ads and show you the awesomeness and creativity from Pepsi Fans.

Crash The Pepsi IPL : Selective Hearing

This is another one of the winner of the
contest. Pranav and his friends have really put fan boy sentiment into the
centre of this advertisement. The Pepsi fan salesman can only hear Pepsi and
nothing else. For a Pepsi buying customer he even offers choices but for a boy
asking a bottle of water he could not hear it a single time. The boy asking for
water bottle is left in amazement once a little boy comes after him and takes away a Pepsi. The expression of
sales boy at the end of the advertisement makes you laugh.

Now coming to the final one, this hits
the correct cord on every Indian’s heart, cricket
and food. When this advertisement first came on TV my mouth started
watering and I felt the urge in me for wanting to have all the delicious food
shown in the ad. The ad is perfectly curated and the perfect radio commentary takes
you back to days before TV, and you actually feel the fast pace of the match
running. This setup brings the best of every food and brings out the best of
each city combining the franchises strengths. In the end of this all there is Pepsi
which makes every serving of these delicacies super awesome. Nikita has done a
brilliant job and this ad really deserve to replace the official ad for Pepsi.
